Wow the end of the school year is fast approaching! The Milton Summer Lunch Committee has preparations underway for this summer. Last year, the program provided over 8,000 lunches to children in our community, and the committee is excited to serve even more this year. This summer the Milton Summer Lunch program will begin right after school is out for the year. We will begin serving lunches on June 9. Lunches will be served from 11:15 am until 12:15 pm Monday through Thursday. On Thursday an extra bag will be handed out for Friday lunches as well. Those will consist of Mac & Cheese cups or Cup of Noodles. The pick up areas will remain the same (see below) as the years before. If you wish to remain and have a picnic lunch with your children there is plenty of grassy space at the church or at the park. Bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy the weather. The program will run in two phases: Phase I will coincide with summer school (June 9 – June 27), while Phase II will cover the remainder of the summer (June 30 – August 29).
