Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
2 Corinthians 9:10-11
Dear Faithful Members & Friends,
I pray that 2021 has blessed you and your loved ones. It is this time of year that we pause and reflect on those blessings…a moment of Selah to center ourselves and be thankful. In times that we are troubled we sometimes forget to do this. When we are scared, angry, confused, or unsettled we may turn inward, away from our brothers and sisters in Christ, away from God. We get so busy trying to fix problems or our emotions get us so tied up that we forget to be still and be comforted by our Lord Almighty. He gives us much comfort by our blessings that surround us everyday. I pray you take time to pause and reflect on His glory as this year comes to a close.
We hope that in this harvest season, you are taking our moment of Selah to thank God for what he has provided. At Milton United Methodist Church we are taking our moment of Selah and thanking God for you, as you are a blessing to our church, our community, and the world. Because of your service, gifts, and offering we are able to be a church. We are able to provide comfort, food, water, and clothing around the world. Your contributions also enable us to provide a place of worship, fellowship, and a home for local ministries. As a church, we count our blessings in this moment of Selah…that is you.
As we look to the year 2022, we pray for your blessings in our church. In your personal moment of Selah, we ask you please consider pledging your gifts and offering for the year.
